History and Tradition

In 2010, I decided to start my own small olive farm, motivated by nostalgia for the olive groves of my childhood after several years living in Madrid. I began selling in bulk, and in 2013, I created the Olivar de Castro brand, offering our oil in designer bottles. However, we faced stiff competition and a lack of recognition.

Inspired by my grandmother's memories, especially of snacks with bread, oil, and sugar, the idea of ​​innovating with an olive oil jam emerged. This product became our flagship product and marked the beginning of innovation at Olivar de Castro. This was followed by butters, emulsions, and the award-winning olive oil powder at the 2019 Salón Gourmets.

Recognizing that other producers might face the same challenges, we decided to offer our knowledge and services to develop products using their raw materials. Thus, our work is divided into two parts: products under our brand with exclusive designs and manufacturing for other brands using their extra virgin olive oil. At Eira Foods, tradition and professionalism come together to innovate in the culinary world.
